What is Embroidery? - Embroidery is the decoration process used on most professional apparel and hats.  Your logo or design is stitched with embroidery thread onto your garment of choice.  Blue Mountain is equipped with both multi and single head machines that are used to produce orders from 1 to 1,000! 

Price Factors to Consider

1. Type of Garment - We offer many different options for almost every product type.  From inexpensive to high end options, there are many styles to choose from
2. Quantity Ordered - Being equipped with both multi and single head machines allows Blue Mountain to do small orders of 1 or 2 all the way up to 500 or 1,000+pc orders without having too much trouble with the order size.  That being said, we do offer price breaks for larger orders.
3. Number of Locations Being Embroidered - Each location requires new hooping and runs for your order.  Embroidery on 1 location (left chest or hat front only) will always be cheaper than embroidery on multiple locations.(i.e. hat front, side, and back.)
4. Number of Stitches in Each Design - More stitches = More time to sew = Higher cost.   
   1. Low stitch count embroidery tends to be characterized by text and outlines of images with little fill stitching
   2. Normal stitch count embroidery tends to be characterized by a combination of text and some small filled in objects and logos. The majority of the overall area of the embroidery still is not created with fill stitching.
   3. High stitch count embroidery tends to be characterized by the majority of the area of the design being filled in with stitches.
5. In-Hands Date - The quicker you need it, the more expensive it will be.  Orders are produced on-demand for your due date and involve multiple processes that have to happen in order for it to happen.  Garments need to be ordered from our suppliers, art needs to be done and approved, and screens need to be created. ​
